WHERE DO WE SHOOT?
Let's chat about what you are envisioning for your session! I have locations that I love to visit and can share with you (scroll down to see some samples or visit my instagram to see if a location catches your eye). I also love to visit new places if you have a location in mind. Lastly, I offer at home sessions, these personalize your family photos and provide a unique touch.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear what you are comfortable in! When picking out outfits for the family I always recommend coordination over matching. Coordinating outfits by using a color palette to base everyone's outfits on will help your photos have a clean and pleasing aesthetic while letting each family members personal style to be showcased.
WHO CAN COME?
Obviously the family! If you have little ones and need a helping hand or someone to be behind the camera to capture the attention of the kiddos, grandma or a family friend can be a great asset to your session!
WHAT ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES?
Let's remember that the tiny humans run the show and we want them to be happy and have fun! Try not to stress before or during your sessions, kids will be kids and it's best to have fun with them! Don't be too concerned with posing during your session, I will guide you but remember to run, play, and laugh with your little ones! Also, I am not above bribes! I can't tell you how many photos I have taken holding candy above the lens or ready to go as a treat! Lastly, remember to get in a nap and have your little ones awake and ready to play when it's session time.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
To guarantee your ideal day and time I recommend booking as far in advanced as you can. Weekend available and family photo season from October to December fills up quickly and more noticed is recommended.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
First, we will get your session day and time scheduled! We will talk about your vision and find the right location and time of day to achieve that look. I am here for help and any guidance I can offer before our time together. Second, we will meet, capture some beautiful moments, and enjoy this time! Then, I will retouch your images (I love to send sneak peeks!) and return a beautiful selection to you. You will receive your images through an online gallery to download your digital files, share, and purchase prints.
