HER name is Alexandra and she came in for her boudoir experience in 2021 at the age of 29. She booked her session for her, looking to reignite her confidence and get out of her comfort zone.
Alexandra is a nursing student working to find and fulfill her calling. Working to find where her place is has left her feeling like she's not where she wants to be at age 29 'as if there is a certain timeline we are supposed to follow.' This stress has caused her to develop an unkindness towards herself, which as she says, led her to me.
'Shifting my focus and love inward instead of seeking it through people and things.' Alexandra has shifted to exercise to navigate stress. She enjoys the gym, being outdoors, and soaking up the days with walks. Alexandra describes herself as easy going, adaptable, patient and kind.
I remember talking to Alexandra before her session, she shared her reasons for booking her experience and what she hoped to take away from it. It was truly what I hope I can offer every woman who books with me, she was incredibly kind and honest with her answers allowing me to get ready to offer her exactly what she needed.
Alexandra doesn't describe herself as a confident person, however she says she is much more confident than she was a year ago or a few years ago. She is working towards embracing every part of herself.
She struggles with her appearance and not feeling 'fit' enough. She is also working to accept and love three things: changes that come with age, changes that come with stress, and scars from past surgeries.
Boudoir first caught her eye because she could see the confidence each woman felt during their session. Though see admired how each person's sexy was captured, she was afraid about how she would look on camera. Then, she had a 'why not?' moment and allowed herself to feel and be sexy on camera without judgement.
During her session she says she felt '12/10. Would do it again.' It helped her find self confidence, her femininity, and allowed her to be able to connect with herself.
I asked Alexandra what lasting changes she noticed after her session? She responded, 'That I'm woman. I'm enough. Scars no scars. I've got everything inside myself. I need to choose to see that.'
If you are struggling with self confidence, she would advise you to look inward and stop comparing yourself. Remember that you have everything you need inside of yourself, 'go get glammed, shop for outfits and do the shoot.' She reminds you that your body will never be as it is again, wherever you are in life, your body is beautiful and you should embrace all that there is about you.

Her last note to you is this... 'the entire experience will leave you wanting more. More experiences with yourself.'
THIS IS HER: ALEXANDRA
